Thiswoulddefinitelynothavebeenmykindofmovie,butmyhusbandsawitonTVandsaiditwasreallygood.So,onhisrecommendation,Iboughtacopy,sinceIdidn'tknowifitwouldeverbeonTVagain.IhadneverheardofanybodyinitexceptArmandAssante.AtfirstIhadahardtimegettingintothestory,becausethefirstpartofthemovieisajumbleofimages--anditdoesn'tmakemuchsense.Itisonlylaterinthemoviethatitallcomestogether.Thescene-cutting-ifthat'swhatit'scalled,isabitjarring--itsometimeslooksasifafewframeshavebeencutoutofeachscene,andthescenesarejerky--butIguessthatwasdonetoaddtotheunusualness(ifthat'saword).Thestoryveershereandthere,andjustaboutthetimeyouhaveitallfiguredout,everythingturnsupsidedownandyouhavetoreadjustyourthinkingastowhoisthebadguyandwhoisnot.Orbadwoman.Theactingisverygood--IkeptthinkinghowmuchNormanReeduslookslikeLeoDecaprio.Theendingwasarealtwist,totallyunexpected,whichIliked.Agoodshow.
